چکیده
Objectives: Inflammations of the maxillofacial regions are a frequent occurrence. They areusually odontogenic origin, but swelling could also have non-odontogenic causes. Their clinical presentation is worrisome for patient, presenting as swellings region with rapid and significant expansion to adjacent areas due thin delicate nature regional soft tissues. Materials methods: The characteristic features discussed upon case series most common types inflammation seen in region. Results: In hospital emergency departments, ultrasound scanning readily accessible, typically constitutes first-line imaging modality this entity. Nevertheless, role limited cases deep extension inflammation, where crosssectional CT or MRI will be choice. This manuscript aims present various inflammatory conditions area on ultrasonography. Conclusions: Even though inflammations often treated without their initial phase, can provide aninexpensive, easy-to-use, available alternative that best visualizes characteristics patterns lesions, based origin presentation.
